ABOUT ME!
I am an award-winning intimacy coordinator, choreographer, movement director and filmmaker.
Originally from Colombia and a British citizen. I recently received the grant Developing Your Creative Practice by Arts Council England to invest in her filmmaking and to research about dance and new technologies like VR, Motion capture and AI.
As a mixed raced East Londoner I feel it is very important to connect dance with
diverse backgrounds and disciplines as acting and film and technology.
I have worked in the performing arts industry nationally and internationally bringing a unique style of movement to artistic creations.
In 2009 I was invited by
Kneehigh to come to the UK for
an artistic residency. Based in East
London for the past 12 years, my work includes National
Theatre, West End, RSC and South Bank.
I am the co-artistic director of the Unesco award winning Company Salida Productions.
I have been Dance consultant for Lee Evans and for Colin
Salmon for the US TV Series “Single Ladies” with Queen
Latifah and worked with: Kneehigh Theatre, Told by an
Idiot, National Youth Theatre, The Royal Shakespeare
Company, National Theatre, Southbank Centre, the
Mercury Theatre and the Watermill Theatre.
